This book is designed to teach students in grades 35 to think and learn creatively about Native Americans. This book is divided into five sections: the Southwest, the Southeast, the Northwest, the Northeast and the Plains. Each section includes a brief summary about the region and is followed by two stories about tribes living in that region. Each story is followed by discussion questions, creative questions, and learning-center activities that provide challenges for your gifted students as well as on-level students. There is also a research unit which includes the steps to a successful research project and how to implement the unit.
