Students must learn the importance of long-term, global goals so that they, their children, and their children’s children will have a safe, healthy planet on which to live. This comprehensive unit accomplishes that goal by teaching them basic concepts of ecology and introducing them to many environmental problems. Activities were designed to develop higher-level critical and creative thinking. Grades 4–8.
