This resource provides practical, activity-based challenges that encourage problem solving, independent learning, and cooperative work. Primary emphasis is on the process of playwriting. Students also practice reading plays effectively; use journals for scripting, reflecting, and evaluating; learn about style and genre; and are introduced to approaches to staging. Grades 5 to 8.
