Open-Ended stories encourage students to look at alternatives before reaching decisions. Youngsters are presented with open-ended stories. They are challenged to look at the situations from a number of perspectives and to examine their own values as they create a variety of possible endings to the stories. Following each story are mind-stretching activities to promote higher-level thinking skills. Grades 2 to 4.
