I’ve Got Another Idea was designed to extend students’ creativity and to provide them with opportunities to stretch their imaginations. The activities encourage youngsters to speculate on what might be rather than focus on what is, to consider a variety of solutions to problems, and to see things from the point of view of others. The open-ended activities focus on the cognitive and affective pupil behaviors described in Williams’ Model: fluent thinking, flexible thinking, original thinking, elaborate thinking, risk taking, complexity, curiosity, and imagination. 64 pages. Grades 2 to 5.
